Lotus Excel

The Lotus Excel is the last of the 4-seater Lotus line, produced from 1982 until 1992. It has a 2.2litre Lotus-built engine, on the traditional Lotus backbone chassis. I bought this car new in 1983, since when it has covered 240,000miles (386,000km). The photograph was taken at Paddock Hill Bend on Brands Hatch circuit, in 1992.
